Description & Specifications
The 4020X sprocket is an ANSI size sprocket with 20 teeth that is compatible with ANSI 40 chain. Our weld on sprockets are manufactured from 1045CD steel and finished with hardened teeth. The "X series" weld on sprockets work with any of our "X series" weld on hub. Weld on sprockets & hubs is universal option that allows you to "build a sprocket" by selecting a sprocket size, then a hub size.

Welding Instructions
It's recommended to use Low Hydrogen Electrodes for welding weld on sprockets & hubs. Below is a diagram showing the location to weld on small vs large diameter sprockets.
