The 40BB17 sprocket is a 17 tooth idler sprocket that works with any #40 ANSI roller chain. Idler sprockets use a sealed ball bearing that has a wide inner race. These idler sprockets can be fixed to a stationary shaft or the can be mounted to a sprocket tensioner arm. Our 40BB17H idler sprocket has hardened teeth to help minimize wear.
