50 nickel plated roller chain is an ANSI standard chain with a 5/8" pitch. Our 50NP roller chain is great option for light corrosive applications where un-plated chain may not be suitable. The Nitro™ benefit is that our #50 nickel plated roller chain has the plating applied to each component prior to assembly to maximize its effectiveness. This chain is compatible with any ANSI #50 sprockets. Our 50ft lengths are spooled on a heavy duty reel for easier handling and storage.

Features
Nickel Plating
Offers corrosion protection in mildly corrosive & humid environments. Unlike lower quality chains, the Nitro nickel plated chain parts are fully plated before assembly for maximum protection.
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing
Built with solid cold-forged bushings for superior wear resistance that results in service life 2x to 3x greater than split bushing chains. See the solid bushing advantage.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Lubrication
Pre-lubricated in a special formulated lubricant through a hot-dipping process. This process is critical to ensure the lubricant penetrates and thoroughly coats the internals of the chain. The special lubricant offers better retention (less spin-out) and improved wear protection over chains that are cold-dipped.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Product Care & Maintenance
