Nitro's 60-2 double strand roller chain is built for superior strength and improved service life. Our 2nd generation chain (N2 Series) 60-2 chain is manufactured with both solid rollers and solid bushings that provides better wear resistance and lubricant retention over cheaper split bushing chains. Every 60-2 double roller chain is pre-loaded to remove inital elongation and hot-dipped is a pre-lubricant.

Features
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing
Built with solid cold-forged bushings for superior wear resistance that results in service life 2x to 3x greater than split bushing chains. See the solid bushing advantage.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Lubrication
Pre-lubricated in a special formulated lubricant through a hot-dipping process. This process is critical to ensure the lubricant penetrates and thoroughly coats the internals of the chain. The special lubricant offers better retention (less spin-out) and improved wear protection over chains that are cold-dipped.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Product Care & Maintenance
