Description & Specifications
Nitro® 60H Heavy Series Roller Chain is built for demanding single-strand drive applications. The 60H features thicker inner and outer link plates that significantly increase working load capacity and improve resistance to the shock loads and cyclic stress that lead to fatigue failure. If your application involves impact loading, frequent starts and stops, or high sustained tension, the 60H is a great option.
Available in standard 10-foot rolls and bulk lengths, our 60H chain is manufactured to ANSI B29.1 standards and is a true drop-in replacement for ANSI 60 chain on single-strand drives — no sprocket changes required, provided adequate side clearance exists for the slightly wider plate profile.

Features
Thicker Link Plates
The Heavy series chains are enhanced by using thicker link plates. This adds fatigue strength, allowing the chain to withstand higher & repeated shock loads.
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing
Built with solid cold-forged bushings for superior wear resistance that results in service life 2x to 3x greater than split bushing chains. See the solid bushing advantage.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Lubrication
Pre-lubricated in a special formulated lubricant through a hot-dipping process. This process is critical to ensure the lubricant penetrates and thoroughly coats the internals of the chain. The special lubricant offers better retention (less spin-out) and improved wear protection over chains that are cold-dipped.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Product Care & Maintenance
Maintenance and lubrication is crucial in the overall performance and life span of roller chain. Proper lubrication will reduce abrasion, chain wear, friction, noise and keep chains running cooler at higher RPM's. You can download the Nitro Roller Chain Care below.
