Description & Specifications
Our 662 pintle chain offers superior strength gained through precision heat treatment and use structal grade steel for our chain pins. The pins are thru-hardened for added strength and wear protection in abrasive enironments. The 662 chain was carefully designed for performance and reliability in some of the toughtest conditions.

Features
A premium built chain for some of the toughest conditions.
Quad Staked Pins
The quad staking on the pins increases overall strength to allow the chain to withstand more shock repetitive shock loads compared to dual staked pins.
Open Barrel
Prevents unwanted material from building up in the chain or between chain and root of the sprocket.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Installation
For proper installation, make sure the wide opening of the chain faces towards the direction of travel as shown in the image below.
