Description & Specifications
Experience the reliable performance of Nitro's premium 80 roller chains, designed for strength and durability. Made from specialized carbon and alloy steel, these chains undergo heat treatment and shot peening for exceptional wear and fatigue resistance.
Part of our N2 series, the #80 chain is engineered for quality, offering improved wear resistance and extended lifespan. It meets ANSI B29.1 standards, ensuring precise dimensions and strength that guarantee compatibility with any ANSI #80 roller chain sprocket, making it a versatile choice for various applications.
The 80-1R roller chain features a 1" pitch, measured from pin to pin, making it a trusted solution in industrial settings. Nitro's commitment to excellence means you get a robust, ANSI-compliant chain that stands up to the demands of your operations, providing consistent performance and durability over time.

Features
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing
Built with solid cold-forged bushings for superior wear resistance that results in service life 2x to 3x greater than split bushing chains. See the solid bushing advantage.
Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
Lubrication
Pre-lubricated in a special formulated lubricant through a hot-dipping process. This process is critical to ensure the lubricant penetrates and thoroughly coats the internals of the chain. The special lubricant offers better retention (less spin-out) and improved wear protection over chains that are cold-dipped.
Heat Treated
Advanced heat treatment is applied to achieve optimum hardness for strength and wear resistance.
Shot Peened
To combat fatigue failure from repetitive loads & wear, a compressive stress layer is added through shot peening.
Product Care & Maintenance
Maintenance and lubrication is crucial in the overall performance and life span of roller chain. Proper lubrication will reduce abrasion, chain wear, friction, noise and keep chains running cooler at higher RPM's. You can download the Nitro Roller Chain Care below.
