Self Lubricating Roller Chains

Have an application where re-lubrication is not possible? Or are you just tired of wasting time and money on lubricating roller chain? Nitro's self lube roller chain might be the answer to your freedom from maintenance! Our lube free chains are built with a sintered alloy bushing that is oil impregnated with a NSF H1 approved lubricant. Unlike other self lube chains in the market, our chain uses a special NSF H1 lubricant that allows for operating temperatures ranging from -4°F to 428°F. Another perk is the chain offers corrosion resistance by manufacturing the chain with plates that have a black oxide coating and nickel plated pins.

Limitations

Due to the nature of the sintered bushing & lubrication, there are limitations in the applications where the chain should be used. This chain is be suited for low shock load drives and a dry, clean and dust-free environment. Dusty & dirty environments will cause lubrication to be absorbed faster from the bushing. At some point, the lubrication will be depleted from the bushing, which will cause accelerated wear and elongation and will require the chain to be replaced.
