Straight Running
NITRO® Straight Running Flat Top Chains are specialized conveyor chains engineered for linear, high-efficiency material handling. Unlike multi-flex or side-flexing variants, these chains are optimized for straight-line conveyance, providing a stable, flat surface for transporting products with minimal vibration and maximum speed. They are ideal for applications requiring precise alignment and consistent performance in conveyor systems.
Available Materials and Options
Our Straight Running Flat Top Chains come in materials suited to various operational demands:
- Stainless Steel: Available in grades 420, 430 and 304 .
Rubber Grip (RG) Variants
Models with the RG suffix feature rubber grip pads securely glued onto the flat top surface. These are specifically designed for conveyors with inclines, providing enhanced traction to prevent products from slipping during upward or angled transport. Ideal for applications like inclined bottling lines or sloped packaging systems, RG variants ensure product stability without compromising the chain's straight-running performance. Note that these are generally not used for flat, horizontal conveyors where standard surfaces suffice.
