Our 12BSS metric roller chain is manufactured from #304 stainless steel material. The 12BSS stainless steel roller chain is manufactured to meet & exceed the BS/DIN/ISO standards. 304 stainless roller chain is great for high corrosive, high temperature and low temperature applications. All Nitro™ stainless steel chains utilize solid rollers and solid bushings, which increases the chains overall strength and longevity.

304 Stainless
304 stainless material is highly corrosive resistant and can withstand hot/cold environments with ambient temperatures ranging from -40°F Up To 752°F.
Solid Roller
Manufactured with solid cold-forged rollers for smoother contact with the sprocket teeth and to resist distorting under heavy loads.
Solid Bushing

Pre-Loaded
After assembly, all Nitro chains are pre-loaded to a minimum load required by the industry standard. Pre-loading seats the chain joint that eliminates any initial elongation in a new chain.
