The slip fit connecting pin is the fast way to join WDH110 welded steel drag chain. It's sized to slide into the sidebar by hand, so you can make a connection in the field without a press, a drift, or a crew. When a strand lets go mid-shift, this is the pin that gets the conveyor turning again.
The pin is heat treated for wear resistance in the same abrasive bulk material the chain runs in. The tradeoff is capacity: because the fit is clearance rather than interference, the joint carries less load than the chain's full rating. For runs working near rated capacity, or for permanent shop assembly, use the press fit pin instead.
